Sometimes you just need something to put a smile on your face and the wonderful short videos by Nicolas Deveaux do exactly that. The hyper-realistic animations feature animals from across the world, in some very weird and wonderful situations.
Taking a year-and-a-half to complete, “5 metres 80” is the average height of a giraffe, the stars of this video. We won’t give away too much, the video really says it all.

About Nicolas deveaux
As a writer-director, Nicolas Deveaux combines a passion for imagery with one for animals.
After he graduated from l’Ecole Superieure d’Infographie, he produced a short film “7 tonnes 2”, featuring a realistic elephant jumping on a trampoline. The film got a good reception across the web and at festivals, enabling him to move into direction. Working mainly at Cube creative, his films range from documentary to advertising.
He pursues a focus on realism in computer generated images that question our relationship to photo realistic pictures. He also develops poetic graphics that resemble painting and drawing, constantly seeking to show the best of flora and fauna.
